In a time that is influenced by a bear market and pressures outside its control. Flux is launching the evolution of Web 2.0 to Web 3.0.
Flux has ramped up development to be a key enabler in Web 3 technology, whilst also allowing Web 2 to run on the same infrastructure.
This helps to bridge the divide between Web 2 and Web 3, giving a platform to share the tech stack between both industries. Bringing with it an opportunity build the future together and help ease the adoption curve for Flux and Ecosystem in general.
Why is Flux doing this?
After speaking with Dan Keller – Co Founder of Flux it is all about the technology and advancements, maybe not just for us, but generations to come. To cause disruption and change to the current financial system, but not only that with technology as well.
Big tech has a huge impact on our everyday lives, having a Web 3 project like Flux gives people another choice, that is run by the people for the people. It’s a great time to have a project with this utility and forward thinking of Flux in this space.

How has Flux achieved this?
Flux has developed its platform with lots of help from the community, supporting miners and node operators as well as having a fantastic development team. Bringing the best out of the Proof of Work consensus model.
Miners have been integral to secure the blockchain while node operators in supporting all the cool applications deployed.
Working together the project has a sustainable in the future, making Flux greener and ultimately carbon neutral with making the current infrastructure into a “run till death model” and utilizing the full potential of both GPUs and Nodes.

The future is bright, the future is Flux. With these developments and the building blocks now in place Flux has really gained pace is quickly closing the divide with Web 2 technology. I’m looking forwards to see what comes next.
What is Flux doing to deliver?
Flux is creating an ecosystem were the people have control of our data and how it is used. Working with both Web 2 and Web 3 ecosystems. To either create applications on it’s own platform hosting circa 15k nodes, or help others to host and develop their own via RunOnFlux labs partnerships.
Flux is delivering and hosting infrastructure and applications such as Flux Drive, WordPress and many more, always adding new applications and partners.
Fluxlabs focus is:-
- Beneficial specific use-case and adoption in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
- Structured brainstorming workshops, community events, and raising awareness of both Flux and the FluxLabs projects together.
- Facilitate connections with like-minded projects and co-marketing for new technologies and partnerships.
Where will this lead Flux in the Future?
Flux is pioneering the way to make Web 3 infrastructure mainstream adoptable, in the very near future. Also investing resources into PoUW which will be a game changer for the industry bringing high level technology to a wider client base at the fraction of the cost of current providers.
Proof of Useful Work will enable and deliver mining with a purpose, making miners current GPUs do more than just secure the blockchain. But give a mechanism to power the future in some key areas including:-

- Computer Graphics Rendering and Gaming
- Machine Learning and AI

Conclusion
We are in a transition point not only for Web 3 but also for Flux. Bear markets area a great time to build and the investment of time and effort have not faltered. Keeping touch with this project has opened my eyes to the possibilities of the technology.
